[Published on May 21st 2025]

In this exclusive video,  Nicholas Hoffman, Partner in the real estate finance group at Haynes Boone, discusses the current landscape of real estate financing. Nick shares insights on the challenges borrowers face in securing financing, especially in sectors like office and multifamily real estate,  where valuations have significantly decreased. He also explores alternative sources of capital that borrowers are turning to, including preferred equity and C-PACE lending, which have gained popularity in recent years.
